President Donald Trump has announced sanctions on Iran that effectively withdraw the United States from the Iran nuclear agreement. The move comes despite pleas from France, Germany and the United Kingdom to keep the US in the agreement. Some critics fear the action could harm US allies, erode US credibility, and even lead to war with Iran.
