Lawmakers Approve Bills to Protect Children Asylum Seekers, Street Vendors

As the Pueblo Sin Fronteras refugee caravan wends its way through the San Ysidro port of entry, state lawmakers have approved bills aimed at helping undocumented immigrants and refugees, including a bill to help unaccompanied children seeking asylum, along with another bill to prevent undocumented sidewalk vendors from being deported.
